| The
ECF International Council was introduced in 1976 as a governing
body for the worldwide ministry of ECF. |
 |
Representatives
from seven supporting countries, together with the Board of
Directors in USA held annual meetings to direct the ECF ministries. |
| The
official name was called ECF International Board. However, in
1985 the official name was changed to ECF International Council
with one representative from each of the 20 nations represented
within the ECF worldwide family. |
 |
 |
The
International Council meets every three years. The USA Headquarters
Board pays for all the expenses for this triennial council
meeting. |
| The
main purpose of this council is to have all committed ECF leaders
coming from all 20 nations to share the vision, to pray to the
Lord, to develop the strategy, to exercise networking, to poll
resources, and to fulfill the Great Commission. |
