The Annual Board of Directors meeting of ECF was held on February 1, 2003. Under the theme: Higher Vision, Greater Service, Deeper Joy, all board members re-committed their faithful services for the Lord in a new year.

One new director, Dr. Karen Kaigler-Walker was voted in by the entire board. A budget which matched up with the growing program was approved for the year 2003. New officers were also elected to carry out the various policies and programs adopted by the Board.

Karen received her Ph.D. from the Ohio State University in 1975. She has been teaching at Woodbury University in Burbank, California since 1987. Now she is professor of Marketing & Psychology and Chair for the Department of Marketing at the School of Business and Management, Woodbury University. She also received an M.A. in theology at Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena. She is the author of Positive Aging: Every Woman's Quest for Wisdom and Beauty. Conari Press, 1997. She is married to Mr. M.E. Walker and they attend First Baptist Church, Pasadena.
